Fillings:

Poppy Seed (Maky)- 1 cup poppy seed Grind the clean dry poppy seed in a coffee 1/3 cup honey grinder and add to the moistened raisins. 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts Add honey, nuts, vegetable oil 1 cup raisins (opt) well and then fold into the poppy seed- 1 tsp. vegetable oil raisin mixture. Ready to be used.

Apricot- 1 lb. apricots Boil apricots until soft. Drain Sugar to taste thoroughly. Put through food processor or 1/4 cup crushed walnuts blender. Add the rest of the ingredients. Dash of cinnamon Blend well. Ready to be used. 1 tsp. of lemon juice

Prune- the same recipe as for apricots but with 1 lb. of pitted prunes.

Just as an addendum, the first item on the list of foods should be a Kolach, a braided, ring-shaped bread, symbolic of eternity and life and should serve as a centerpiece for the meal.
